Gearing up for the New Year!
I hope you all managed to get some rest, eat some delicious food, and spend time with people you care about last week. As I said we had some family in town up until Christmas eve and then spent Christmas and Boxing Days quietly soaking up the forced break. It was lovely!
As promised you will find some forward looking posts below as we consider with the official start to the New Year in just a few days. While I always feel hopeful during this time of year about new beginnings, there is also an undeniable pressure to “get this one right”. I want to encourage you not to let that pressure overwhelm your efforts this time.
If I’ve learned nothing else in my professional time there is no single tool, product, or system that solves productivity gaps or makes it easier to redesign your research program for impact. I wish there was.
Here’s what I have learned:
· Small steps forward matter.
· Action destroys anxiety.
· Consistency is key.
· The next best step is all we have.
